Ryan Guey, R.Ac.

Acupuncturist
Brief info

Ryan Guey was born and raised in the small town of Peace River, Alberta. Since a young age he had a keen interest in health and fitness, leading to the desire to pursue a career in helping others obtain a happier, healthier quality of life. He moved to Edmonton in order to attend university at MacEwan University where after studying sciences for two years, successfully completed the three-year Acupuncture program along with over 600 hours of clinical practice.

During his time in clinical practice, Ryan had successes in treating various conditions ranging from emotional disorders; such as anxiety and depression, to muscloskeletal injuries, allergies, digestive complaints, sleep issues, headaches and migraines, hypothyroidism, smoking addictions, and even chronic degenerative diseases such as cervical spondylosis and rheumatoid arthritis.

He strongly believes in the Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine system of healing designed to provide complete, holistic care. His main focus when an individual comes for treatment is to help the patient work on the root of the problem. This can help to prevent the main issue from returning, instead of simply masking the symptoms and providing temporary relief.
In his downtime, Ryan enjoys keeping physically active at the gym and discovering new local eats.
